Association “Antique Croatia”

Local: Antique Croatia is building its first local youth activities and educational workshops in Zagreb, focused on mental health awareness, digital literacy and active citizenship among young people.

Regional: The organisation is establishing connections with other youth organisations in Croatia and the wider Balkan region to develop joint training programmes and networking opportunities.

National: Antique Croatia aims to contribute to national youth policy discussions and collaborate with Croatian educational institutions and NGOs on digital literacy, social inclusion and sustainable development initiatives.

International: Through Erasmus+ Youth Exchanges, Training Courses and ESC projects, Antique Croatia is building partnerships with European youth organisations to enable mobility, intercultural learning and cross-border cooperation on wellbeing, digital literacy and environmental awareness.

Antique Croatia is a newly established youth organisation based in Zagreb, Croatia, dedicated to empowering young people through international mobility, non-formal education and intercultural learning.

Our organisation was founded with the vision of making Erasmus+ opportunities more accessible to young people, especially those with fewer opportunities or limited access to international experiences.

Although Antique Croatia is a young organisation, its founder has actively participated in Erasmus+ youth exchanges and training courses, gaining first-hand experience in non-formal education, intercultural dialogue and international cooperation. This experience inspired the creation of Antique Croatia as a space where young people can learn, connect and grow together.

We aim to become a reliable international partner by creating high-quality youth exchanges, training courses and local educational activities that promote personal development and active citizenship.

Main Goals Aligned with Erasmus+:

• Facilitate learning mobility and intercultural exchange for young people.
• Encourage youth participation in social and civic activities.
• Promote social inclusion and equal opportunities for marginalised youth.
• Strengthen capacities of youth organisations and foster international cooperation.
• Support non-formal learning, creativity and personal development.

Our vision is to build the Antique Community, a European network of organisations united by the same values, mission and commitment to high quality youth work.

In the coming years, we hope to establish Antique organisations in different countries, creating a family of independent organisations. Each organisation would be locally led by passionate young people who share the Antique vision while remaining connected through one international community, common quality standards and long-term cooperation.

Together, we aim to develop impactful Erasmus+ projects, support young people across Europe and create opportunities that inspire personal growth, intercultural understanding and lifelong friendships.

Our goal is simple: wherever young people see the name Antique, they know they have found a trusted community.

Dorotea Presečan (President and Project Manager) founded Antique Croatia after actively participating in Erasmus+ youth exchanges and training courses, gaining first-hand experience in non-formal education, intercultural dialogue and international cooperation. She leads the organisation's project development, partner coordination and Erasmus+ application work.
